Growing up in the U.P. pasties were just as common as a hamburger. Now living in the Midwest, I must stock up when I visit my hometown. I buy dozens and keep them frozen. They are partial baked and fast frozen so they go directly from the freezer to the oven and are so wonderful on our cold winter nights. I look forward to finding you when I visit Chicago. Best of luck in your new venture. I know it will be a hit and it really is something Chicago needs.
